How to Restrict Certain Gift Card Brands
Rewardable allows you to control which gift card brands your recipients can choose from when sending or redeeming rewards. This is useful if your organisation has specific ethical guidelines, brand preferences, or content restrictions.
Restricting Gift Cards
When creating a campaign or campaign template:
Go to the Select Gift Cards step.
Browse available brands and categories.
Select only the gift cards you want your staff or recipients to access.
Save your campaign or template — only the chosen brands will appear as options.
Common Use Cases
Ethical selection – Choose environmentally responsible or fair-trade brands.
Exclude alcohol or gambling – Remove any categories or merchants that don’t align with your company policy.
Themed campaigns – Limit available cards to a specific theme (e.g. wellness, entertainment, or food).
This feature helps ensure every reward aligns with your company values and compliance policies, while still offering a great choice for recipients.
